two words: Abyss Test

When I first saw UO and my bf finally let me play on his account, it was with his smith. Took his smith to Legendary hanging out at West Brit forge with the other smiths. It was nice just chillin with other smiths, with the random player asking for repairs or a rez or help getting back to their bodies at the cemetary. And everyone celebrating when someone reaches GM, or elder or legendary.

The place is quiet now though.

As a 'Newbie', I once was given a Silver Axe by an experienced player as he watched me struggling to kill gouls etc in Brit Cemetary. Told me to look after it as it has cost him something like 50k to have it made.

Enjoyed that axe...........till I was killed by a 'Red' raiding party in Trammel between Brit and Brit Moongate.

I guess you want the axe back.

I remember always being on your toes when gathering resources...reds attack all.
I remember trying to make a thief and a red sparing me because I was going to be a thief
I remember when I was a newbie and some one was casting paralyze on me, I had no idea what was happening...I thought it was lag.
I remember I had 4 houses on one account...all small.
I remember seeing animal tamers walking around with two or more dragons...not drakes.
I remember putting a hammer on F5 while I slept, and waking up in jail with a GM standing next to me LOL! Never again.

I just remembered the evil mage tower spawns. they were fun

I remember the silver steeds!! And being colorblind thinking the ones runnin in tram were the same....paying 100k for the original style drag scale armor...or standing by helplessly as your body decayed just to have someone show up right after it happened to rez you!! my first vanq mace and hammer!! what a day...jus to then proceed to die in hyloth....and lose it lol

When you joined an NPC guild to get their goods at a lower price then non-npc guilded people got them, and it cost 500 gold.

ya the silver steeds where great. anybody know why they got rid of them?
I also would like to see the dragon scales return to what they were or at least made useful now they just stink

Return to the little moonstone sized fishscale?

The following memories all came from Pacific. =P

Letting your little brother play your character while you were at work and coming home to find all your skills like 30 points lower. Asking him WTF? and him telling you he kept hitting the rez now button because he didnt want to loose the orc helm he found.
.. I hated him for that.

When the Virtue Guard guild on the Pacific shard had their guildstone in Lord Brits castle

When the poor beaten newbs outside of East Brit banded together into this massive 40 or so player army to exact revenge on Nose Goblin and his G^H guildmates.

Sitting inside the G^H house for almost a full day and passing loot from their chests to a friend outside the house every few hours.

Wandering around T2A completely lost the day after it went live. I found my way out four days later, trailing an army of tamed horses to sell in Brit.

Staring in disbelief as my guildmates slowly kept vanishing only to realize later on that they were being teleported to jail by a rogue GM so his pk friends could kill/loot us.

Showing all my friends my new title when they released the reputation patch.

Throwing away NO DRAW tiles because I thought they were trash.

When the Minoc Miner Caves were a sure hotspot.

Being taxed by BYZ North of Minoc.

Paging a GM because I heard that the PK who kept killing us in the Minoc Caves used UOE >=|

yeah i soooo miss the old days of smithing where 100 was the highest

my smith never wore anything but an apron hehe
then she got perma banned and i cryed and didnt speak to my ex for like 2 days......
