DCI or FC/FCR
ok.. so ive been messing around a bit with UO since EA is giving a free trial and i got to thinking.. I currently have a 100% LCR suit with 55/58/70/56/70 and 50% DCI.. my choice is between keeping that (23% DCI on jewlery) or changing to a FC/FCR set up...
so which is more important? Im thinking about getting back in to PVP, although i don't know how the PVP community is on legends.... but for the most part right now im just screwing around getting back in to the swing... btw, my template is undergoing a few changes but right now its 110 mage 110 med 108.7 eval (working on it) 85.5 resist (debating on going higher) 76 healing (debating between this an perry which is also 76) 76 focus (debating) and a lil bit in inscript.. suggestions thoughts would be great ![]() ![]() I've never figured out how to be gracefully humble without appearing weak. Nor have I figured out how to be gracefully passionate without appearing arrogant. In the end, I always seem to be arrogant and weak instead of humbly passionate. |

Re: DCI or FC/FCR
If you want to have any effect in PvP you will definately need the FC/FCR jewelry. If you are just going for PvM then you're all set with the DCI.

Re: DCI or FC/FCR
looks like a pvm template. if so, throw on protection and use DCI I guess....you dont have resist anyway, at least you wont get disrupted with prot on.
if you are going to try and pvp, 2/5 casting is the minimum. Otherwise you will get pwned repeatedly and laughed at by the pvp gods. ![]() |

Re: DCI or FC/FCR
These two fellas already answered your question... I'd suggest setting up both outfits and then in UOAssist.. make PvP or PvM your Main Dress macro depending on which you do more, and the other your first alternate.. keep all your clothes, jewels, hats in the same chest. You can hit the macro in UOA while standing next to the chest and that way you're not bothering with an undress bag. And you can pop into your house, undress, and redress in the appropriate outfit. I have 4 different UOA outfits myself. PvP, PvM1, Social, and Raids.
