I was just curious about maybe investing in some nice elven armour, and was wondering what you all thought.. i like the look of Darkwood armour 6 piece set I think it is, but is it really worth 12-15m? is it me or has the price of some things gone crazy lately? i am hoping it isn't that much as I have about 8m tops to my name, and really want a set.......

also if it is that much or more, what sort of resists can a good carpenter bang out for say bloodwood or whatever the best type of wood is? for a nice set of elven wooden armour....?

one last things sorry for the 20 questions but is there any other good set or set type armour that isn't 150m as i've been told for some sets and 100m there etc? any good sets for say 2-4m? or lower?

Darkwood armor shouldn't be over more than 5 or 6 million, should it? If someone charges over that, I think they're probably asking for an insane profit.

Darkwood armor is superb, with extra hit points, well over 70 resists across the board if made with high end woods, and with 30% DCI and other mods.

I really like it, but 12 to 15 million really sounds outrageous. For 12 million you could buy two barbed kits and make yourself 30 pieces of barbed kit armor.

Darkwood Bloodwood armor can go as high as 10, but most darkwood armor sets should be no more than 8 right now. It is a nice set to have, but definitely not the best set. It's one of the better warrior suits though. The best suit for a warrior is the assassin suit because of the swingspeed increase attached to it, plus it's only a 4 piece suit which allows you to customize more.

The sad thing is, most of the good set armors are ridiculously expensive. Assassin set would run about 100+ mill almost. I'm currently looking for the marksman set and juggernaut set, which are weapon sets, but also lookin for assassin legs and gloves.

The best woodland armor you can make would be bloodwood. Most of the time you'll get high fire resist. I would suggest looking for good drops off of monsters and enhancing your pieces. That is the most efficient way to obtain solid woodland armor.

Also you can craft different pieces together. Like a few parts bloodwood, to max ur fire resist, then get some heartwood pieces for maybe some extra DI and such. It doesnt have to be all one wood set

I have a GM carpenter on Europa with a fairly sweet talisman to help him out... but I don't have any runics whatsoever. Anyhoo, if you do come up with stuff that needs enhancing, I'll be happy to help out.

I also already have some pretty sweet frostwood enhanced wooden armor parts sitting in a box if you want to purchase some.

oooo!!! yes please ;) i am on pretty much every mon-fri after work from about 6-9pm and then saturday I am sometimes on and off throughout the day and same with sunday.....

Prices aren't a problem, I don't use the armors myself and they just rot in a container. And I've always underpriced everything, not much of a businessperson here

The price of the Darkwood Set is set that high due to resource pricing.

You can build an amazing suit with wooden armor. I spent alot of time killing trogs and have gotten some pieces that enhanced to 80ish resists. I have a couple bloodwood enhanced pieces, I like using that wood cause of the hpr.
