A sad day for all that enjoy the modern-day rpg. I freely admit I spent an inordinate number of hours playing AD&D, and saw more than a few sunrises while I battled dragons and gnolls. My best to his wife, and a heartfelt "thank you" for his creation.

Same here, I played AD&D for many years. Sad to hear of the passing of Mr. Gygax.

Being 11 and getting the first rules of d&d (red box) changed my life... I became a gm and got introduced to the "big picture" perspective...

Is htis the time to put the limited and signed D&D adventure on ebay? ... guess not.
