Cry-babies over KR. Whaaa. :'(

I agree wholeheartedly with the concept of KR. I have been saying for ages that both our outdated clients need to go away and we need to move into the 20th century.

I also appreciate that it is going to be downloadable and not a pay expansion.

However I can't tell you my opinion of KR so far because of the NDA (good/bad/can't say). Once the NDA is lifted....watch out.

KR has WoWs interface. EA could have made it different, or leave it the same!
how can anybody not see that it looks like top-down WoW?

KR does not look like WOW to me. WOW looks to cartoony.
I think KR looks more like a painting ...

I like it so far ... and I was a dedicated 3D UO'r

Well all us that came from Diablo to uo did not need game that is more like that meaning diablo 10 years ago that was cool but now not... why cant they just work on really good stuff making it go right passed wow, and few others. I think with uo as a game with all that wow and other stuff grafixs in the mix. You would end up with only UO.

WoW didn't make that user interface. You'll see it in twenty other MMOs before WoW. World of Warcraft didn't go and create anything that new, they just refined something that had already existed and made it as easy and accessible as possible. While that's appealing to some, it certainly isn't to the UO crowd (including me); however, with that being said, I do believe that an easier to use interface is something Ultima Online needed fairly badly. For those of us that didn't use macro programs and their hot keys (and yes, we do exist), the KR new interface is a dream come true from what I've seen in screen shots. UO didn't take anything from WoW, and if it did, it only took what it felt to be useful, and leave the stuff it found to be bad/useless out.

I would say more, but since I'm in the beta, I have to watch my mouth.

Hopefully the user interface will be very customizeable such as WoW's.

The feel of kr need to be fixed. It feels like a gigantic flash game. I cant point my finger on what it is (and couldn't say it if I knew)..
