CRAFTING - Bugs, Problems, Suggestions, Questions & Answers ...

Anxious to test the crafting and merchant areas of KR, my tailor got busy.

Well, we have some problems.

1. BOD Books ... Everything is fine until I try to price a bod. After clicking the set price gem, it tells me as usual, to type in a price. So I hit return ... type in amount .. then hit enter again. The price shows up over my character as speech and the bod in the bod book remains unpriced. I tried many ways to set price (using different commands after hitting enter to type) but none of them worked.

2. BODs ... after double clicking the T- bod to combine the item required, all I get is a black blank window (gump). There are no options to even try to fill the bod. It's just a pretty blank box.

3. The blank gump from double clicking the T-Bod (where there should be the option to combine items) will not close even though I hit the blue gem in the top right corner of the gump to close it.

Any suggestions?
Anyone else finding other glitches with merchant and crafting areas?

I did report all three problems through the in-game bug form and to the Official Feedback/Bug reporting page.

The crafting window itself needs to be reworked a bit.

When you click on the type of item you want to craft (Bladed, Leather Armor, Misc., etc.) you get a scroll list that is relly just too long, imho.

I know it's still Beta, but I'm starting to think they could have waited a little longer before pushing it out. They've got to be flooded with legit bugs/missing things/etc that they don't know where to start.

Has anyone tried to get a BOD, how do you get one now from a NPC?

I use control/shift to pull up names. Then right click name bar for the menu...

Aye Vepl... I also .. double click on the npc ... their little target bar (pic) pops up ... (top of play window) ... I right click on that ... and get options ...

You can also do that with other players target thingy ... makes it easy to add to party ... show their paperdoll ...

Just a little more complication than is needed, don't you think? Extra steps to accomplish the goals...
