The Candle of Love has been lit!

WEll the sad part is my friend got all his quest done and cant light his candle heh

What's the situation on Felucca? Are the Candle and Shrines cleansed on both facets, or are they still corrupted on Felucca?

Sir Bolo, you made my day. Checking Felucca, did show that the Candle of Love is still not burning here. So after a few tries (the path is different, starting with S E S 8xE 4xS 2xW 8xS E ... (and after that I did wander through so no chance to remember for my small brain) I got it and gave it to friendly hands.

Not sure. It's just the Trammel side in Atlantic that's lit right now. The spawn in Fel is still there.

When this happens does it mean the monsters stop spawning? If so, I hope europa does its soon as my house gets swamped by drakes/dragons/lich lords/stone harpys and nightmares, such horrible beasts, I usually recall in and get killed before the screen switches!

well i was working on my candle quest today, i got the last thing i need which ws the tear, now i wonder if i get to light my candle, hmm. I was fighting the reds yesterday, i guess when i leave here i will go and try and see what happens.

I have not even done the quest yet. I am going to do it tonight as I would like a candle for one of my characters. Maybe all of them! Does it take along time to do? I know there is a guide for it at UOGuide, but I dont want to be caught peeking at work!

30 mins to 2+ hours, depending on how much you want to cheat...errhh..."prepare carefully"

Getting the heart for me takes the longest and is the hardest, but with not so many ppl trying now maybe its a lot easier, but killing the Large Orge by urself well thats a biggy

Once cleared, the red spawn will not reappear at the shrine areas after the Candle of Love is forever lit, and the homes around them are no longer under siege. One can still go to the Felucca facet to finish the quests on Napa.
