Coming back to UO after 8 years

Hello all, I have decided to return to UO after I return from Iraq in May. I haven't played the game since about 99 and even then i didn't get very far in it. I was just wondering if there has been any DRASTIC overhauls to the game other then the content patches. I remember the game being excedingly fun, but i never had the time to really devote to it like i will soon. I can't get onto the official UO site to see what has changed and what hasn't so any input anyone can give me would be most appreciated so i can make the most out of my first days.

Drastic? Oh yes.
Check out the forum here on Kingdom Reborn. There are a lot of pics, a lot of complaints about bugs and such, and a little info. They redid quite a lot, so we are all newbies again lol.

Kingdom reborn aside since 99 there have been many changes. I usually take about 6-9 months off after I get burned out and find I have quite a few new things to learn and explore when I come back. So after 9 years you're going to be very busy.

I can't wait to play again. Hopefully I will be back in the states in less then a month and the wife has promised me, a copy when i get home. Just wish these darn DoD computers would let me on a site with the game manual.
