anyone know were the dif color shrouds come from ive seen black purple blue green

Any shroud that doesn't have the [Blessed] tag on it is a duped item, which will eventually be altered to become something... err, different. Less special.

The black shroud is the original, the dark green is the Umbra robe brought from Asian shards, the others are various event items. But the reason you're seeing them now is they've all been duped in ridiculous numbers.

Hooded Black Shroud = Shroud of the Shadows, is probably the most common

Then there are a number of colored "Event" Shrouds that were made as prizes on different shards, these are one of a kind type items made by the EM's on a shard. I'm sure there are some other unique ones out there. I'll have to do some research.

yah, I think the name of one of the non-duped ones, its blue and called Talkesh or something like that. It cant be blessed, but it is legal and an event item or something like that.

Anything named "Hooded Shroud of Shadows" that isn't blessed is a duped item, regardless of what anyone may tell you. It was duped using a changling bug, as well as another dupe involving a dog.

There are many legit shrouds available, and 99% of them are all blessed. There are a few event rares that are not, but most of them are. The greatest shroud I have seen so far is the Shroud of Bal, which gives +10% to physical resist. It is of a dark green color and worth 250+ mill.
