I have posted an event that will be taking place on LakeSuperior this Thursday. It is open to anyone that can get there. Location is at Fel Destard. Here is more information about the event.

"Info
Welcome everyone, to my second PvP Event for the Lake Superior shard. After much talking about how to get everyone involved in a prior post, this event known as "The Chest" will take place at Thursday, February 08, at 7:45 Standard Time.

At 7:45.. Somewhere, ANYWHERE in the First Level of the Dungeon Destard, there will appear an Edgar on a Beetle. This sad unfortunate soul has been paid many millions to sacrifice himself in the name of PvP fun! On His Beetle, contains the chest of PvP Greatness!

This Chest... is actually 8 chests. One inside of another... Weighing just under 1600 stones and containing some 120 items+. Once ya break thru the 8 layers of greatness.. (The last one is specially marked and colored) a treasure worth no LESS than 100 million gold awaits! I won't delve into the greatness that this chest contains but there's literally enough to share the spoils amongst a whole guild! A massive treasure trove worth more than a harrower EASY! Each of the chest are engraved w' special messages so you'll know that the chest you're supposed to go to. The last chest in the bunch (If they get unloaded as the fight goes on) will be specially hued and the engraving will make obvious it IS the last chest. All are locked, all are trapped.

The Goal: is simple. Get the chest out of the dungeon and recall it to safety, where you can get thru the 8 trapped chest with ease.. OR secure a perimeter around Destard large enough and long enough so that a lockpicker can successfully pick thru the chests and get the stuff out.

Notes:

1) Be there early... The earlier the better. You'll want to set up a perimeter and make sure its held. We did a time test w' a lockpicker who took about 5 minutes and 40 seconds to burn thru all 8 chest.

2) The chest is trapped. It will do 180+ damage to an all 70's resist armored person w'in 3 tiles of each trap going off.

3) None of the stuff is insured inside the chest.

4) There is a book inside the chest w' information on how to contact me to return the book. If someone returns me the book, from inside the chest, regardless of how they got it, he/she and his guild (if affiliated) will be given credit for the win. Returning the book to me will result in a extra, special valuable prize.

5) The chest is heavy.. 1600 stones, and full 120 items. Keep this in account when doing your tactics.

6) Destard is big. Take advantage of the space..

Other Stuff:

What I'm hoping for is for all the guilds of Felluca to come represent. In the chaos of open field warfare, anything can be possible in this and I could well see a small guild pulling off the chest in the last minute. In Warcraft, where I stole this idea from, often the big dogs are fighting over the chest and the lil' guy comes in and sneaks out with the goodies!

I would like to thank the Conclave, headed by Dennar.. for their large gold donation making a lot of the prizes n' gold in here possible.. that conclave is a good crew. I'd also like to thank Egyptianmagician from Time Square for his gold donation. Finally, I'd like to thank my guild, ShinRa Incorporated for the mounds of gold and prizes that we all came up w' to make this work.

Blues! This is your chance! Band together as one and you could well manage a group very capable of winning this event!

Lake Superior! Defend your honor as people from other shards will be coming to try to take the chest from YOUR LS Dungeon!

Other Sharders! Come do it! To come from another shard and pull this chest off would be huge!

Anyone may come! Anyone may join! And to all you big wigs out their.. your rep is on the line. How well can you PvP? Show up! UORadio, Stratics and more will be their to do their thing and give the victors and those that put in the effort credit when it is due! The Ultimate PvP Challenge of Coordination, Cunning and Skill will soon commence!
