Chaos Damage?

Alright, what basically happened was I found a quiver on the ground called Quiver of Elements, which, if you're not familiar with it, has 100% Chaos Damage as one of its bonuses.

My question is, does Chaos Damage affect spell damage in any way? I've asked a few of the high-levels running around in New Haven, but no cigar.

Any help would be amazing, and thanks in advance for helping a newbie in distress.

Nope. Damage modifiers on quivers only affect archery damage.

The only property on quivers that everyone can benefit from (afaik) is the 5% DCI on the Quiver of Infinity.

Adianna is correct.
The elemental damage from the other quivers seems to carry over as well. I have done this using a golem, a 100% poison weapon, and a quiver (the cold damage one). Put the quiver on, damage goes up. But you do not seem to get the DI bonus.

So Then I Have A Question There Is A Artie Or Martie I Forget The Name That Has 100% Chaos Damage So With The Quiver That Would Make 200% Chaos Damage Does It Stack

it can not stack. Lets say for example you have a quiver of the elements (that is the one with 100% chaos damage) and then hold a boomstick (also 100% chaos damage) and to top it off, cast Word of Death on a target that is not low enough to get the major damage and therefore casts chaos damage as well. *takes a breath*

All the chaos damage does is randomly selects a damage assingment. 100% is 100% is 100% And for the Math people, 100% * 100% is still 100%

Chaos damage is not a damage increase UNLESS it randomly picks a resist that is less then you normally would damage something.

The only thing I am not for sure of is if concecrate weapon has priority over chaos damage. (I would assume it would but never really took the time to test it)

To subdue the enemy without fighting is the acme of skill.
