Re: Can someone give some noobie advice?

Also when you decide on a sever check the local shard forums to get some shard specific connections & information.

I'm kinda in doubt about the server:
Legends
Atlantic
Lake Superior
Great Lakes
Chesapeak
Catskills

Those are the best connection/timezone related. How are those servers? Full/Empty? Thank you!

Re: Can someone give some noobie advice?

Atlantic is the busiest US server so there wil usually be alot of people on but there will also be a bit more lag because of it.

Id guess that Catskills and Chesapeake are next from that list, and then Lake Superior then Great Lakes and finally Legends in order of population. Just a guess tho really...

I play on Cats and I think that its a pretty good server. Nice balance of people without overcrowding.

If you decide on Cats, let me know. My game time is pretty limited right now but Ill try to get you set up with some equipment and such.

Re: Can someone give some noobie advice?

Hm, I logged on Atlantic and on Catskills. Atlantic was full of people and Catskill almost empty (New Haven). Is Catskills that empty? Or just on New Haven?

I'm going to sleep now, so cya tomorrow!!!

Re: Can someone give some noobie advice?

As far as where people congregate:

Luna Bank--commerce area
Twisted Weald-- A little bird called Swoop that you will hear much about
Yew Moongate Felucca-- PvP
Blighted Grove--there is a popular peerless boss there
Sanctuary--not alot of people here, but usually some
Heartwood--people go there to do the crafting quests

Old Haven used to have quite a few people at peak times tho much less at off hours. Who knows how it will be now with the change...this is the first night after all...

I will say this: no matter what time of day or where you go, Atlantic is pretty sure to ALWAYS have more people than the other East Coast shards.

Vanilla Warrior (No magery, chiv or such similar) is the way to go! If anything it's more fun to role play and kick butt with others with similar templates!
(Europa for the win)

A miner is a great starting character, all the ingots you get you can sell for quite a bit of money! The fastest money maker for a new player is a miner.
