You guys know the complaint posts and what not about the proficiencies coming into the game soon? And the following "Can I have your stuff?" posts?

Well, I was floating around Luna earlier (had just got on) and a gentlemen was dropping items at Luna bank. I decided to go through them and found a few items worth keeping. He asked everybody to gate him to Vesper. Nobody responded so I opened up my rune book and made the gate. He hands me the Heart of the Lion he's wearing. Long story short, he's quitting because of drama in game and ended up giving me his crafters crafting supplies (including over 4k in frostwood) and his house with everything in it.

I intend on keeping all the items in the house that he's given me and on the off chance he comes back some day I'll gladly hand it all back over. I hate to see somebody quit. I tried to convince them not to.

So strange that people don't even try the changes before they quit.

He did say he was quiting cause of the drama.

Hehe.. Agreed.. ask any of the U.Hall whiners if they've even tried out Pub 40 on the Test Center and most of the time they'll say no. Same will go for Pub 41. Bottom line.. the game created Item Addicts over the past few years.. now that the Dealer is going clean, the Addicts are refusing rehabilitation.

Quitting because of the drama I can understand I guess. Hopefully no one has quit over Proficiencies yet...who knows what form they will actually come in.

I had a guy give me a FULL 18x18 a couple years ago because he was "never" coming back. When he came back a few months later I offered him his house and all his stuff back. All he took was one pair of sandles.

I really don't understand quitting over drama on a message forum...
If you don't like what you are reading can't you just stop going to that particular forum?
Why quit the game because of something going on outside the game?

It's interesting to me that you say that, because it's ironic that while so many people are griping about the coming "nerf", so to speak, they turn around and clamor for a Pre-whatever shard where, egads, there are no "uber suits".

There was in game drama Flutter. He/she got burned by a couple different guilds and decided that it was time to quit the game after five years. I don't know anymore of the story. I can understand how this would happen. I've done almost the same thing before.

Ohhh drama in game.
God I play FOR the in game drama. That is HUGE entertainment for me. Just got to not let yourself get emotionally involved yourself.
Maybe I am a bad bad girl... but that's one of the reasons I PLAY is to watch the other people's drama unfold.
