bush/archer

I currently have a bush/fencer, but I am not please with the damage output with fencing. Was wondering if archery would be a good replacement, my current temp is:

110 fencing (replace with 120 archery)
109 bush (training to 120)
115 parry (training to 120)
70 chiv
100 anat
100 tact
90 healing

does parry work with archery?

I never had a archer so I appreciate any comments

AFAIK parry doesn't work with archery, anymore. (I could be wrong)

if parry doesnt work w/ archery then does it really make sense to have bushido?

nope, parry does not work with archery, I had a buddy try it out. Bushido is not ALL about the evasion. There are 5 other spells in that book that are effective. People get a horrible misconception that if you dont have parry, why bother having bushido.

I can see that confidence works with archery buy does LS & MS?

yes, they work with archery. The only spell in bushido that is reliant on another skill, is evasion, being parry. momentum strike works great in a spawn, when you are trying to hit a couple things at once to clear some space out.

Evasion, confindence, and counter attack are all parry dependant right? I didnt mean just evasion sorry for the mix up

confidence will indeed boost a bit if you parry a hit, but it will still work without it. It gives you a short burst of hpr. I am pretty sure CA will work without bushido, just probably not as effectively, just like confidence. I would say load up on DCI, to help out not having parry. I only use confidence and LS with my chars that have bushido, 1 char has parry, 1 doesnt.
