the new bod system makes it so easy to get the better rewards if u get a crap bod fillit turn it in, and you get another with in minutes instead of the 6 hours u used to have to wait . so by all means pick up junk bods fill turn in,one at a time . if u have 40 turn in one at a time ask for a new one after each...

That's all well and good, but I still think that if you accept a BOD and drop it because you odn't like what it is...you should be prepared to face the rammifications.

I don't drop them because I don't like them. I simply have too many of some kinds. The dropping of extra bods is fairly common and is actually good for less experienced crafters, as they get more bods to work up their skill, money and fame. I often throw out the large ones as well.

I need to work high fame bods. At Legendary Tailor, I really don't need anymore bods for doublets, not even exceptional ones. I am working to keep my fame up to snuff, and doing the low bods doesn't help at all. More often than not, I throw away the reward item. I have 8 stretched hides at my house, and I throw them away routinely. I have thrown away several PS for Blacksmithing and Tailoring both from 105 all the way to 115. The 120 I really had to struggle with, I finally put it on my vendor for 10000.

Tapestries are less common, but those too, I have far too many and they simply don't sell. I could toss the bods in the trash, but I figure someone will be happy to have them, and from what I have seen after tossing some out, I am correct.

BTW, You aren't a crafter, are you? As a comparison, I am sure all the warriors out there keep every single bit of loot they get off of every creature they kill??? Perhaps that was a poor choice to compare. I have seen the chests of junk loot my son in law hangs onto.

Snowy, what shard are you on? I am interested in them there pastries...err, tapestries you mentioned.

I have tons of junk in my house too...from killing monsters. Deimos saw my crib when he used to play and he can attest that I have no sense when it comes to collecting loot.

Lake Superior, about three screens east of Luna. I know NOTHING about cross shard trading though.

Darn. I should have read your ... whatever it is called...on the side there...says Lake Superior. Profile I guess. How much do they sell for?

My tailor isn't even very good yet and I know exactly what you mean about stretched hides! I have several sat in boxes taking up space, but most I sell them on my vendor for about 4gp (and they still don't go for ages!).

You do get too many of the lower end BODs but I tend to keep mine just in case I need them for an L-BOD.

Very true! When the very low end BODs were still enough to raise my tailoring I would pick up as many as I could (although that was a bit before they changed the timer on when you could get a new BOD).

I put the Tapestries on for from 8 to 10k. I have seen them higher and maybe it is just because I am not in Luna or a well traveled shop zone, but they just set on the vendor for weeks sometimes. The Stretched Hides, I just gave up and throw them away....

Oh, I keep a representative batch of small bods to work up the odd large bod, got to keep the fame up, and even the low end Lbods do some good there. :cheesy:

Snowy, I tried to find your house so I could get a look at them tapestries...couldn't find it. I was surprised to learn that I have a Master swordsman/miner on there though. I barely recall starting that character...must have been when I was also messing around with Chesapeake.
