Bugged character can't use soulstone

Ok - I'm trying to juggle some skills around to breathe new life into a champ spawn stealther. Problem is, I get the "you cannot use a soul stone while you're on a new player skills quest" error message.

I have, in the past, done a couple new player quests w/this toon to check out New Haven, but my quest log is completely empty. I even cancelled the only quest in there (Dreadhorn) to be sure.

Is this a known issue, and how do I fix it? I tried paging, but after 7 hours (no exaggeration) of being #14 in the queue, I gave up.

As an aside, GM support is poor lately.

Seriously, I do not believe there are any GMs anymore - haven't seen one for at least 5 years (prob. more).

Best thing would be a bug report or a mail to our always vigilant Jeremy ;)

See if it will allow you to buy any skills from a NPC. If you get the same message, then it thinks you're still questing somehow. This is just a suggestion.

Next publish includes this fix which hopefully will solve your problem: "Broken quest chains can now be resigned from properly". Are you checking for quests from toggling yourself too, like when you check for self insurance or leave a house? I am eagerly awaiting this publish to hit my shard. My char and a friend's have been broken for months trying to get the summon fiends scroll on our spellweavers with unremoveable quests related to Candle of Love.

I have only been using the KR quest button. When I get home (stupid work) I'll try 2D and the context menu.

I've had a GM fix this for me before. GM's do exist. I believe a GM suspended Cutter's guild yesterday for guard whacking a champ.

A GM came and fixed my bugged boat for me today too

Friend and I were both snubbed by the gms, and left with a little orange dot instead to submit a bug report.

Update: tried 2D, no joy. Tried running around Haven, can't find an NPC who still has me questing.

Here's hoping the patch will fix it.
