Merik of the ONN reported from inside of the Luna walls. here is what he had to say.


"It would appear that the city of Luna is under attack!. The strangers which once kept to the dungeons have found their way to the great Paladin city!



Merchants seem to be organizing an evacuation of the Smith and Tailor areas and moving to Britain. The PaxOku Crafters Society on Chesapeake is already been evaluating the damages done as their Merchant pack animals were killed immediately.

Other reports coming in from all shards of the same attacks within Luna. The strangers appear to show up around the stable and moongate area.

Casualties on all shards are in the hundreds as this attack came from no where with no warning.

The ONN will be following events closely on all shards. Again all shards seem to be under attack in Luna.

it was one monster and it was killed in under five minutes....

I'd like to know who the heck thought it was a good idea to put the chick in Laggtown.

This Is The New Stranger. They Have The Same Loot and Skills As The Ones In The Dungeons. For They Are Now Spawning In Luna. Only Problem Is There Is Too Much Lag In The City. With People Scripting Speek Hacking And Other 3rd Party Programs Make These Strangers Hard To Handle With All The Lag

I dont think I laged once. And it took longer then Five minutes to take it down lol.

yea it was bad. at the end with the big fire explosion I lagged real bad and then crashed. and ofcourse died.
by time i got rezzed and got back I lost track of her. the firey feild happened near the moongate but the loot was by the west inner gate.Needless to say i didn't get anything. I hope i get to participate in a stranger fight again, but perhaps farther away from the center of Luna. maybe could get it lured outside the city walls.

I picked up a bunch of the gems and somehow they never made it into my pack.

These gems made it into my pack, made the noise of landing in my pack, but nothing registered. What the heck?

I checked every single corner of my pack to no avail.

I think someone is vaccuum-scripting up all the gems on catskills.

I had the sound of picking up the chest and puting it in my bag but alas nothing....

Odd. Perhaps the Dev's are using this event to root out script-looters? Maybe legit folk will log in to find a Magic Lockbox in our packs, containing the contents of said banned scripter accounts (divided equally, of course)?

Wishful thinking, I know, but perhaps they are trying to root out scripters. Since the event is exclusively in Luna, it would be quite easy to monitor what client data flows through that subserver.

Draconi, I hope you got ya ban-stick repaired, you're gonna need it!

bottom line it was dumb. On pacific the monster died in mere minutes as it spawned in the middle of a tamer hang out spot by the stables. 15 tamers simply called out their dreads and said all kill while a few newbs died.

worst of all, life in luna went uninterupted.
