Soo I have a elven Machete (i think thats what its called) with 50% Mana Leech and some other good mods. So it had the special move Bladeweave which I had no idea what it was. TO my amazement it is a random special move. With the Mana leech it is crazy get lucky and you can get a Mortal Wound, Bleed, Armor ignore. And mana leech a few times and have enough to just keep specialing. The other move on it is Block which initself is quite nice. Just thought i'd post incase anyone else was wondering about Bladeweave.

Has anyone tried doseing poison on this weapon incase the move happens to accept infection strike?

A machete is a swords weapon and thus can't be nox'd. I've successfully nox'd all of the elven fencing weapons however.

I have a few machetes, but haven't taken them out hunting yet. Barney, your description of the special is intriguing. Definately going to be fun mixing that up with Enemy of One. *grin*

today i got the following special moves, in a row bleed ,mortal ,AI ,AI ,bleed ,block ,feint ,concussion, concussion, para, bleed, mortal.

butcher knife and cleaver are swords weapons that can be poisoned, figured it was worth asking

I will try and poison it today, However I don;t think infectous strike is one of the moves it randomly chooses. From my first observations it seems that it only selects from the special moves that don't really require any other skills. So no Bushido ones or Shadow Strike, hrmm come to think of it no dismount either. So perhaps any special move that requires any special check (i.e. skill level or Mounted/unmounted) are not in the random specails that can be choosen when using the bladeweave special. I will pay close attention again later today.

I agree no disarm. The main ones seem to be Bleed, Mortal, Armor Ignore, Block, Feint, Paralyze, Concussion, Crushing, and Double Strike. I may be leaving one out. I still like it. Ohh and Bladeweave is a special move on teh Soul Seeker or whatever it is. Took mine out last night and man its a mean mean weap.

The first special on it is disarm, and it wont work! whats up with that! I am stuck with the bladeweaving, which i will admit is nice, but I get too many blocks and feints, I dont have any bushido so I dont think the feint does anything. Is there something I should know as to why the disarm isnt working? I have 110 swds, so I know I meet the standard 70 and 90 skill requirements to do a special. Any ideas guys?
