black seed

I see some white and black seeds for sale in shops on Lake Superior, I thought these colors were mutants and produced no seeds? Are these a scam or fakes? Opinions?

They are mutants ... you can only get them by crossbreeding plants ... and they are the only two 'colors' ... thier are others but those are considered 'rare' seeds gotten from loot and quests

You have about a 1 in 200 chance of getting a mutant white or black plant when crossbreeding.
They will not produce seeds ... the original mutant plant will give you 8 seeds (black or white) and then you can plant those 8 seeds to get 8 black or white plants ....

Yes and once you plant them, they will not produce any more seeds etc. So you take a risk buying them, since there is always the chance it will die.

i have never heard of seed scams but im sure they exist
