![]() | Best armor for a warrior I currently returned to UO to find all the weapons and armor have new attributes. Also wearing platemail no longer lowers your dex. Since I played when metal armor lowered dex my dexxer uses leather. Basically my warrior is a fencer/archer what would be the best armor for me? |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Best armor for a warrior of course you are trying to build an all 70s suit thats 70 in all resists, which is the highest that anyone can get. Unless you play an elf then your energy resist can go to 75. I think what you are really asking is which mods are the best for your character? Personally since you are running an archer, I would go with armor that boosts your dex to the max, so that you are shooting as fast as possible. Or some stamina regeneration to keep your dex near max. Other than that you going to want HCI hit chance increase, DI damage increase. Then how much do you rely on your special moves for combat? you might want some mana regeneration, or even some increased mana. Then again I have seen some archers go with high luck suits to try and enhance their loot drops. But then you have (usually) low resists. So I guess overall I just confused you even more. But it really comes down to what you want your character to do. Are you going to focus on pvm or pvp? Doom? or Peerless? Both? ![]() Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment |

Any meddable armor is the best all around armour at this time. What is your template and stats? If you plan on using a lot of specials you might want MR as well as resists or some with mana increase. Any other mods are going to come from arties/crafted arties that aren't on typical armor (HCI/DCI). If you are human, you want to stick with medable armor. If you're elf, it doesn't matter. ![]() ![]() Thanks again Maddux! Adri: women don't discuss men while in the bathroom, we sacrifice small animals and smoke tampons *rolls eyes* |
