Been gone for a few years...

Miss this game a lot, but want to know if the thing that made me quit are still the same...

When Trammell came around (about the time I quit), Fel became a ghost town on every shard I played - Napa, GL, Lake Sup, Sonoma, a couple others... Is this still the case?

I simply don't like not having the option of killing that annoying **** that you're bound to come across from time to time, and I miss being the guy that's running for his life from time to time (sick as that sounds)

Are there any shards these days with a good population in Fel? Other than being full of (ware)houses people recall to from moongates to grab their stuff, then beat a hasty retreat back to Trammel?

No shards have active fel populations aside from the fel yew moongate fighters on weekend evenings.

so if I decide to come back, I can either...

Sit at the Brit bank and build a collection of worthless rares with the money my tamer made while camping an elder gazer spawn spot

OR

Run around Felucca and play a game that may as well be a single player game?

Damn them town invading, moonstone toting lizardmen, AND the changes they brought!!!

that's really depressing.

Before I quit, I gave Trammel a chance, but found that it was basically a neverending circle of : camping a high loot spawn spot (elder gazers were the thing then), to the bank to buy some useless rare, then back to the safe dungeon to get in line for the spawn spot again, repeat until the drool drips off your chin and shorts out your keyboard

We have bags of sending now that allow you to send the money back to your bank without leaving the spawn! So you can camp all day without moving
