Bards... and PvP(!)

I already know the basic answer, that bard skills are basically worthless in PvP.

I'm about to create a bard (Music/Provo/Peace/Disco).
Not a PvP character in herself, but PvP confrontations (RPvP) are likely to be unavoidable.
So, my question is, what can bard skills do in PvP?

For example:
Does area peace work on players?
Can monsters and animals be provoked onto players?

Area peace works on dexxers (it takes them out of war mode) you can also discord pets.

"Can monsters and animals be provoked onto players?"

Interesting question - unsure if you can under the Trammel ruleset.

I seem to recall it was possible to do once under the Felucca ruleset - but I wouldn't bet my house on it.

Re: Bards... and PvP(!)

Provo on to players only works on siege at this time.

Peace has a "very" limited effect. As ben pointed out dexxers come out of war mode, cured by toggling back in. A mage who has a targeting cursor up, will lose the cursor but only has to cast another spell
