Recently returned to the land and feel like a caveman. I played from beta until 2001. My wife and I were very active on Great Lakes back then, but have started new on Atlantic. I thought it was hard to be a new character back then. At least houseing is available and much cheaper now, can't believe I got a log my first month...just like I used to have.

It is a very intimidating game now. Your chars have to be soooo developed now to be useful and soo much more focused. I don't like it honestly. I like haveing broad characters with choices on how to play them, but you HAVE to go legendary to be able to play the fun dungeons and champ spawns, which is the way to make money now, but you have to have the riduculous sums of money required to buy the scrolls.......and worst of all; my smith..my lovely lovely smith is now useless.

And still I play hours a day and love it. If only my cu sidhe would listen anyway. Eagerly looking forward to kingdom reborn and still searching for the elusive adult gamers who speak to you when you ask them something. I love people with the pwn you profiles....wow.....why are roxxors the only ones left?

I have found a great guild though....thankyou le@f for saving my return, and i am glad to have stumbled onto uoforums since stratics is about as out of date as i am.
