armageddon spell

In the moonglow-rift portion of the invasion, the armageddon spell would do a significant amount of damage to the Ethereal Shadow Lords, provided you also had a piece of blackrock in your pack. The blackrock was consumed, much like a reagent. You could not achieve the same effect using 100%LRC - blackrock required!

In the current stage of the invasion, I don't think armageddon does anything useful. It would have been nice to try it out against the Sonoma Hyloth stranger last night, but I didn't have any blackrock on me.

Can anyone (player or dev) confirm/deny armageddon works against strangers?

i was wondering the same thing about using the spell on the strangers. but havent had a chance yet to try it

For All Those Who Are Wondering Armageddon does not work on any of the strangers.

I can't remember the exact amount, but your magery has to be a certain point for anything to happen. I'm not sure about other spell casters like necro or pally.

To blow yourself up and become blackrock infected, I believe it's gm or higher. Finally went kaboom on my 110 mage after multiple attempts. But anyone could say the armageddon spell regardless of level of skill and damage the Shadowlords.

I tried many times during the moonglow event with my dexxer and a friend of mine with his archer - both 90 chiv, 0 magery - and nothing happend. Not once.
