Ive been reading the forums about archery templates and i was wondering why people have bushido? It maybe plainly obvious but atm i just cant see it.

Also i was thinking of having the following skills can anyone tell what skill level i should take them too please.

Archery -
Anatomy -
Tactics -
Chivalry -

The other skills im really unsure what to take for the best so any advice would be great. Im looking to pvm most of the time if thats any help.

Bushido gives you lightning strike, which maximizes your hit chance increase as well as giving you the opportunity for a critical strike (nice damage increase). It also give you confidence as a secondary healing option.

For the skills, I would go:

Archery 120
Anatomy 100+ (higher depending on other skills)
Tactics 100 (you can go higher, but DI increase isn't that much)
Chivalry 70-80 (again, depends on points for other skill and what those skills are)

As an example, one of my archers looks like this:

Archery 120
Bushido 120
Resist 120
Anatomy 100
Tactics 100
Healing 90
Chivalry 70

Don't forget that Bushido also lets you gain Perfection (Honoring a target, it gives Luck Boost, 10% DI boost per "step", and instant HP/Stam/MP upon killing whatever you Honored).

Also at 90 Bushido, you can ride and control a Lesser Hiyru.

And to round off with a trivial point, (unless you are using the Horselord elemental/reptile slayer bow, when it's rather useful to be able to get them to work!) to use the 'special attacks' of the yumi bow, you need 50+ Bushido or Ninjutsu.
