Anyone else notice...

...that mining has become an extreme sport post publish? I've gotten 6 sm pieces of blackrock and two shotted by blackrock elementals 3 times since the changes.

Maybe it's just me.

I have not seen much activity mining wise, though their are the select few you see over and over, I have seen one player script mine 4 accounts afk at once! And he is filthy rich, it kind of puts a "What the hell is the point when people do that?"

I guess but it's pretty painful for those of us that like to watch TV and pay as little attention as is physically possible to one of the things that is the most tedious in the game. I guess I will have to break down and actually start being more attentive.

I'm up to 8 pieces of blackrock now and 4 nasty deaths. Seems like 2 a night with a 50% spawn rate on the elementals. Pre-publish I had 2 total pieces of blackrock from what literally amounted to days worth of mining.

I do the exact same thing. So far, four or five pieces of blackrock and only one elemental has popped up on me... luckily he killed my beetle first and I managed to hear that and turn my head to the computer in time to run away.

You don't even have to mine. A blackrock elemental was in Luna two nights ago, I was at the bank. Must have killed 30 people at least. It was kind of funny, everywhat was like "where the **** did he come from"? lol

Yes, finally. I never saw it coming myself. I was standing there sorting stuff and then it was oh crap.................................

Even though it blew a little, it was still funny. I have no idea how it waltzed in there.

I saw a blackrock elemental in Luna on Sonoma shard a month or so ago. It seemed to be hanging out camping a player vendor in the southern part of town. I had no clue at that time how nasty they were but I gave it plenty of space anyway.

No idea how it turned out... Might have been funny to stick around and watch.

Someone was probably mining in town. I don't go to Luna, if I can help it, but I have pulled up several in Yew. The guards don't really care all that much... unless you yell at/for them.
