I've been playing for a week or two now, and I've always wondered, does food really affect anything in the game? I know the first two days I played my character didn't eat anything and did just fine, then I found some muffins on the ground, ate them, and nothing seemed to change. Is it just one of those useless things they put in the game for fun, or does it affect your skills, or what?

At this time eating does NOT affect anything. They may change it tomorrow but for now you never have to eat or drink

Food effects are often debated. While the Dev team SWEARS that food has NO effect on skill gain, others SWEAR (and have data) that it does improve damage.

Food does in fact replenish stamina, a little at a time depending on the food you eat. I think pig on a platter gives the most.

So, use food as you see fit. It can either help or harm. Sorry for no conrete answer.

Thats an eye opener as Ive been feeding my character since I started. I'd rather not though cause it seems to be as relevent as making sure your character goes to the toilet every day

Would be funny if your character dies of starvation or explodes because he didnt releive himself.

Only time I ever eat is after I die, dont really know why but have been doing it this way since way back when

I remember back in the day when you didn't eat and your char didnt fight as well and took more damage.

I have heard from many people that a full stomach allows you to hit more with a weapon...

If my spells fizzle,I eat fish steaks,and then find they dont fizzle

So I am undecided wether eating has an effect or not .
