Is all this blackrock i have worthless?
I missed the Trader event........

 I'd hang onto it. If nothing else, it may be worth some shinies after awhile.

The blackrock scenario hasn't fully played out yet, since the contraption is still being built in Moonglow the last time I checked. Best hold on to it until then, would be my advice.
