Advice on best server

Can anyone tell me the best server to start on, i live in London UK. Do the servers vary much or do i just pick the one with the best latency. Btw i'm using UOKR and i think it looks amazing. Any replies will be much appreciated.

As far as I'm concerned, there are no differences between shard, it's all the same game and places (excepet for users towns and etc). The only thigs that changes are latency and community.
except for Siege Perilous, that's a whole other thing

Since your in the UK.. Europa would prolly be best, it has a good active population that is varied in playstyle and focus...

Is Chessy dead or something? There isn't a single soul in there.
I'm considering moving to Great Lakes (or Lake superior, I can't remember which one now) because of the number of players

Thnx for the info everyone, i can't believe i got 4 replies within half an hour - must prove the game is still in a good state of health. Anyway i'm gonna give Europa a go.

Definatly Europa, nice and fast if you live in the UK
Drachenfels is also nearby, I believe that's in Germany

If not, the east coast shards of the USA, are pretty good ping wise.

Damn-bad news, i've tried various servers but i keep crashing out - Europa seems the worst . I'm using the UOKR client, should i try the common garden one instead? Maybe i should mention Europa server does not show any latency just a dash? and i can't seem to delete any of my characters. Please please help i'm dying to get into this game!!.

For game play now. I would get a hold of the 2D client. You can then enjoy the game.

KR is still in beta. Lots of crashes/bugs to be worked out.

As far as the dashes go. It means either your firewall is blocking it or that you haven't given the KR client to retrieve the information yet.

I personally would consider a move, but I am biased. GL is fun and that's where I play, I hear LS is also good. Plug: If you are into rp, we have a player town on GL with a bunch of houses.
