Ao, I just ordered a copy of 8th Age from Amazon and Ill have an Advanced Char token coming my way.

Now, I already have 5 well-developed characters:

Elder Fencer Pally
Necro/Scribe Mage
Elder Peace Tamer
Elder Arty Thief
Crafter (Smith/Mining/Tailor/Tinker/Carp/LJ)

I was thinking about making a T-mapper from scratch and discounted the idea for simple sake of time, so thats one option. Another nice part of this is being able to swap LP around with the Arty Thief so she can dungeon crawl and pop chests.

The Adv. Bard looks pretty tempting as well.

Then theres always the mound of gold I could get for it to keep the current chars I have in insurance money for a while.

Anyone have any ideas I missed or any info to swing me one way vs. another??

Actually I kinda liked the Pally Char I made on the Test Shard with the token.

Can you get anything good from T-maps or chests in dungeons?? I have never gotten anything really good. I like the bard if u need a character to make you money and you PvM more. They especially rock in high spawn areas and you can farm gold if you need it.

I bought an advance char too but did the t-hunter. Always wanted to try t-hunting but really not sure if it is worth it. My t-hunter with be a bard t-hunter so if i dont like it, I can put cart and lock on a stone put peace and eval on my bard and now he is a bard/mage.

Who knows maybe someday you can get arties only from t-hunting now that would be neat

I used mine to make a tamer, but seeing how you already have one, I would say use it on a T-hunter or a Samurai.

Im pretty sure Im going to go with the T-mapper. I need a LPer for Para chests if nothing else, but as far as dungeon chests, its just easy, quick money.

My friend and I used to do alot of 5s and 6s when he had his account up. Every once in a while youd get an item worth attempting to enhance, but it was mostly for gold. If you sell off all the gems and scrolls too, the money is pretty great for the amount of effort you have to put in.

Most shards have a house or two with runes to every map location too...
