Hey everybody!

I’m new here so this post to introduce myself to you and while I’m at it, bombard you lot with 1001 questions J

Been an UO player from the start on and off and reactivated a 28 months old account with Europe characters recently (couldn't remember my original accountname). My Trammel house was gone (and so all my vet rewards and cool equipment) but I got lucky and build a bigger one on the felucca facet in the trinsic woods which I am now decorating in a god awful way… I’m by no means a hardcore gamer and just want to have the most fun possible in game.

I bought a 6th character slot and think I’ll keep it until I can make a gargoyle char. No idea on what it will be yet…

Could you give me some advice on templates and such, these are my characters (from memory because I’m at work now ? I find all of them dying a bit to fast really.
Keep in mind I do not have any power scrolls and don’t think of getting any in the near future…

Thinking of Alchemy instead of chiv. And taking it to 100 (recalling with scrolls made by my scribe)

And a lot of crap I don’t use… no idea how to complete this template…

So you can see not really STRONG builds and no real direction on how to make them better on my part…

Could someone tell me how my mule could make himself a golem for protection (where to find the parts, which parts are needed and such things)

What I would want to have is a ranger type char. With archery and a way to make good bows, a thief-like character that can sneak, lock pick steal stuff, disarm traps, lock pick and maybe fight a little J
And explore the Ninja character a bit… so a template for a ninja that can poison and use darts (blowgun needs archery?) to hit with poisoned darts from a distance…
So any advice on how to go about creating these would be more than welcome!
I wouldn’t mind paying for one of the advanced characters but no idea which one would complete my family and give me the most skills I’m willing to try out J

Hi, I am sure there are a ton of people on here that can answer your questions. I just recently restarted also and had a ton of questions about templates and everyone was super helpful. Check the Skills Forums area for a lot of template ideas and helps also.

I can understand not wanting to use PowerScrolls, but they really do help out a lot. I won't post anything that needs them though unless you change your mind.

Noa - If you can keep him bouncing around with Recall Scrolls then I'd drop Chiv and definately pick up another crafting skill, Alchemy is good or you could go with Bowyer/Fletcher also.

Aeron - (this is where I'd highly suggest PowerScrolls, but...) Since most Tamers sick their pets on what they intend to kill and don't really do much else other than heal their pet, I'd drop Eval and pick up Music and Peace then flip a coin to decide to add either Discord or Provo.

Twilight - (another I'd highly suggest PowerScrolls) Keep Chiv at 70, Healing at 90, raise the rest to GM and use the remaining 40 in either Med (if you have all medable armor) or Focus.

Necro - Go for the gusto! Get Poisoning to GM (lower if you used PowerScrolls), it would be worth it.

Nathalya - I'd add Wrestle/Parry, drop Focus and pick up SpellWeaving, but that's just me.

Are you deciding on what your 6th Char slot will be as a gargoyle? I won't suggest anything 'cause you only have 1 slot to play with.

As far as the Golem for your mule, he can make it himself with Tinkering, the only thing you'll have to get (preferrably from one of your other characters) is a Power Crystal (I think that's what it is called).

Couldn't make my mind up about lots of these things and your input really helped out.

I'll hold on to my ninja/archer template thinking for later and have fun perfecting and playing with the current characters.

About the power crystal, you know who drops that and where i can find that specifick mob? Also, which character would have te best change on defaeting that creature?

Power Crystals come as loot off of, Golems (can be found in Humility Jungle, Exodus Dungeon, and Blackthorn's Castle). Any of your other characters should be able to do the deed.

welcome to uof ludovicus and yes powerscrolls may be the way to go i have alot of 110's if your interested im on alantic and there is no charge just enjoy

Aye, I'd agree highly on getting at least 110 taming with your tamer. Mainly because some of the best pets (Cu Sidhe's), can't be tamed unless you have over 100 taming. Like Tony said, 110 powerscrolls are usually pretty cheap and some people, myself included, would get you them for free.
