So it seems Seige is the only shard worth playing

I quit a few years ago when trammel ruined the game I had grown to love. Had 3 accounts with all the characters finished, a castle in what became Felucca, blah-blah-had this, had that. Didn't want to start from scratch again.

Seige uses the old ruleset, right? And is there room for someone to place a house? I'm itchin for a UO fix, been on the reality wagon too long.

Yes there are places to place houses. Don't think you will find a huge one but small ones seem to be abundent and some mediums here and there. Never know you might get lucky.

It's the closest you'll find to old UO that's not a freeshard. And there's plenty of room to place the big 18x18 houses . And who knows...if you get lucky you might find a spot for a keep.....
