NEVER) Idea/Goal Behind this Guild (and GRI... plus CAT alliance): Interact with the Community, Take part of events and tournaments, Increase our UO gaming possibilities, Create a unique atmosphere making UO a doorway into a Fantasy World... System: Appointments are made and responsibilities are given based on demonstrated ability (merit) and talent,invested time and personal creativity... all in a respectfull environment with no room for greed, hate or heated arguments aka drama. Rules (basic, conduct and engagement): Basic ones- No Foul Language, No Disrespect, No killing Blues (familiar...) ROC (rules of Conduct)- 1. Do not break character unless in an appropriate setting (ex. Luna Bank or in private) 2. Separate I.C. from O.O.C. to the best of your ability. (e.g. personal grudges, frustrations, out of character knowledge, and game mechanics) 3. Legitimate complaints should be taken to your GM. 4. No out of character house magics RoE (rules of Engagement) 1. No Looting 2. Any Killing on Sight (KoS) must be approved by target or associated GM 3. If a player falls in a conflict, he must wear his death shroud for 30 minutes after the moment of death. The player must abstain from combat and or provocation for 30 minutes. The defeated must react in accordance to their defeat. 4. Characters in death shroud may not be attacked. 5. Survivors should insure the fallen return to their corpse. 6. If it is evident that your opponent is not present at his keys or disconnected, you must cease combat immediately 7. Banks and logout points (e.g. inns and homes) are safe zones unless otherwise stated or implied. 8. Players may not participate in battles involving guilds that are not highlighted (at war with) with exception to Felucca. This was the easy part... Now the REAL task begins... Guild Basic Information: Torm1 Guild Goal IC: "Deliver justice to the evil, dishonest, and wantonly destructive..." "Serve as the sword arm of justice, the righteous fury of the just, enacting vengeful wrath on the evil and deceitful." Question #1: - Guild Name? TORM Question #2: - Paladins only? Question #3: - Guild Color and uniforms? We know they change acording to the rank... 1. Cadets, Dark Crimson 2. Faithblades, Rose Red 3. Wardens, Deep Amber 4. Vigilants, Harvest Yellow 5. Defenders, Pale Green 6. Enforcers, Dragon Green 7. Guardians, Sky Blue 8. Knights, Metallic Blue 9. Vanguardiers, Amethyst 10. Champions Dusky, Purple 11. Holy Champions, Unadorned Metal ... and we have the Tubs that Huma and many others placed at the top of the EyE. A Unique guild color to unify our guild while doing an event is always fun... on the other hand, rank colors will tell us instantly who we have to heal faster and who will resist the attack of a mob of demons... interesting options... <<< DONE! Question #4: - ranks and quests? So far we have this: Cadet- posted FaithBlade/Marksman- posted Warden- posted Vigilant- Needs to be re-writed Defender- Finish the 8 Virtue Quests Enforcer- Quest: Find an Hollow Prism, solve the teleport riddle, go to the pentagram in the center of level three, slay the Balron... leave the Hollow Prism in the center of the Pentagram... (check special rules) SPECIAL GUILD RULES (this is where we are much different from any other guild): - at rank X, player becomes a member - at rank Y, player becomes an emmy (only, if he wishes...) - ANYONE can be the GM of this guild... so we'll ROTATE it...(6 months?) (aye this is risky but it is also the perfect way to have an inverted pyramid system... i wonder if that is a circle system too) I ask for your apologies and patience for the many mistakes we'll make along the way and i hope you have a blast. (insert new guild motto here) This is why we are in New Haven: "While I was doing as security sweep of New Haven I noticed that the LICH was up to somthing at the Necro temple. When I arrived I notied them talking to a member of the PGOH. The were informing him of their intentions of creating a bone prison to capture the lost soals of old haven in order to relase the of their eathly bonds. Sounding to be a noble cause, so i watched from the shadows to see what unfolds. They were aquiring any assisstence in gathering bones and dragon skins. Two more PGOH members showed up and continued the conversation with the LICH. They agreed to help and went pon their way but I stayed within the shadows to see if I could find out their true intentions. The Necromancer casted a spell bringing forth a hidous creature, patchwork beast. "Will they be larger that this one", one of the LICH members said to the other. Yes they will said the Necro. Interesting, it seems they have other intentions than that of building a bone prison. I wrote this information in a note to pass on to the PGOH members. to warn them of what I belive is the true intentions of the LICH. I called for the aid of my brothern to assist in locating the PGOH so I may warn them. I stayed at the temple until the arrival of the PGOH members upon which I gave the letter to the squire CatLord to give to his leaders so they may take this information and use it as they wish. Mathena arrived to investigate what was going on at the temple. After the PGOH left a member of SOL arrived and explained to the LICH he was there to arrest them, Clive Dauthi was his name. A battle broke out and I called for TormTars to aid in assissting any GRI that may get caught up in thier battle. At the end of the battle Clive Dauthi spoke to Mathena informing her to notify the guild leaders of his intentions and that of the LICH. I spoke to her later and found out that she talked with CatLord of the incendent along with pasing the information to pitr. All security should keep eyes on this situation and report of any evil doings to the leaders. It seems that all is not quite in New Hanven anymore. Shadow Dancer G." Add to this the Rping stories we lost from the old boards... maybe they can be posted here... giving a sense of history. Roleplayers around the shard were invited to join and add their view and lead this guild... either in TORM, GRI or by adding their guild to our Alliance. This will open a new discussion... I would like to apply to move Mathena into TORM. When I get home tonight, I will search the old boards and post the biographies that we had there. I know there was one for Mathena, Obake and a few others. If there is anything else you want me to dig for, please let me know. |

NEVER) The Faction System - Felucca Facet When Minax took over Lord British’s realm, she started a rift, both among her followers, and among the followers of Lord British. Both sides split into two different groups, with different ideals, and war ensued among all 4 sides. The rebellion began in Moonglow, where the council of Mages decided that Lord British was no longer fit to rule Britannia. He’d not only failed to protect his lands from the invading hordes, but many of his own people had abandoned him and fled to the side of darkness, taking post with one of the factions of evil. British’s loyal followers tried to crush the rumors quickly that Moonglow was planning on seceding from the throne’s grasp, but this only furthered their cause, making those who died or were jailed martyrs for the cause of the mages. The Council of Mages now believes that what Britannia needs is a new leader: one who can not only lead Britannia against Minax, but who can also keep peace once it’s restored. To this end, they have begun preparations to do something drastic. Though they’ve never had to do this themselves, they are the keepers of the arcane knowledge, and they have prepared many notes and items which they will need in their quest. They oppose Minax, and Lord British, and as such, are not safe from danger in either company. Meanwhile, Minax has something of a rebellion herself occurring. Strangely enough, from within her own rank and file, there are those who are calling for the Shadow Lords to be released from the Abyss to take their rightful place as the rulers of the dark land. While her minions are grateful to Minax for allowing them the opportunity to strike terror at Lord British, they feel she is only useful as a magical tool, and is not powerful enough to lead them against Lord British for an extended period of time. To this end they have begun preparations to do something drastic of their own; call for the Shadow Lords. Her minions are now split amongst those who would follow her, and those who wish to see her dethroned. Infighting is the only thing thus far that is keeping Minax from working out a way to breach the virtue spell that protects Lord British and his followers. The result was four different factions: MinaxAll factions are aggressive towards each other, meaning each faction member can be attacked freely by members of another faction. Strongholds of Factions Each faction will have its own stronghold, a place where their faction stone resides and where the members of that faction are to take a sigil if they obtain one. The stronghold is the base of operations for each faction. At this time, the faction strongholds are located at the following locations: Minax Faction — The stone fortress is located in the mountains west of Trinsic. Council of Mages Faction — The Magincia Parliament Building in the southeast corner of Magincia. Shadowlord Faction — Located in the unused crypts in the Yew forest, a fair distance in a direct line northeast from the east Yew Healer’s Shop named “Deep Forest Healing.” This is not the Yew Graveyard, but instead the haunted crypts far to the northeast of the city within the woods. True Britannians Faction — Located within Castle Britannia’s throne room, in the town of Britain. |
