A balmy wednesday evening, a band of Royalist troops gathered on the Britannian Guard Training arena. Approximately ten men standing tall and proud, with the Commander of the Britannian Guard, ironically the only female ready to put them through thier paces.



I split the teams into two, a blue and a red team, we started with a simple healing exercise as a warm up. The Blue team with the more experienced guards won the day, not a particularly spectacular display it has to be said. Next I let the men play 'fashion' fighting, the winner being the one who captured the most
garments at the end of the session. General Deisos from Skara was triumphant, being able to capture two of the garments ... and very fetching he looked as well. We then moved onto an event to test the guards ability to construct a simple barricade. The red team seem to have mastered the art, being able to produce a
simple yet effective barricade, while the blue team seemed to be .. well .. clueless to start with, but ended up with a vastly over-engineered fort.



We then tested the forts, by having each team attack the other. The Red team after initially showing good tactics, allowed themselves to be drawn from thier barricade, and were picked off by the Blue team. The Blue team were able to defend thier fort with little difficulty. We then had a session of catch the flag, won amazingly, by the Blue team!
To finish, and in light of the Bagball league planned, I organised a game of Bagball .. won by guess who !



The Blue team seemed to win every single event that evening, I suppose it's only to be expected as it was Britannian Blue !
