Who's Who in VTC
Name: Margrave
Race: Human Profession: Deceased Bard Mage Sin: Despise Margrave was born near Cove in a small village along with her twin sister Beatriz. Margrave was separated from her family due to an orc attack. She was raised at this point by a mage named Berian. Due to disagreements about the appropriate use of power, she broke with Berian and worked with a group know as the Minion to cause problems in the Felucca town of Rivendell. Margrave used money borrowed from Cordelia Spencer to start the Vesper Trading Company as a front company for certain criminal activities of groups such as the Council of Sin. She was a member of the Council for its second and third incarnations. She was implicated in many murders and other crimes during this time. During this period of her life, she became obsessed with research into the lost dungeon of the Abyss. Margrave's research into dark magic eventually caused her to lose her mind. When Shadow left the shard for other crimes against reality, Margrave was taken into custody. She died in custody during a failed escape attempt. Her killer was Galen Knighthawke. Her body, except for her heart, was burned, and these ashes were spread far and wide. ORIGIN - Ultima Online - Main ORIGIN - Ultima Online - Main |

Re: Who's Who in VTC
Name: Marc Anthony
Race: Human Profession: Pirate, Mariah’s first mate Age: 35 Home City: Cove Guild: Vesper Trading Company Marc Anthony was born and raised in a small fishing village in Cove. He lived there pretty happy most of his childhood. His mother was caring and loving and his father was a hard worker. His father was a fisherman who barely made ends meat to put food on the table. Every once and awhile Marc would go with his father on the boats and obtained vast knowledge on sailing. At the age of thirteen a turn of events occurred that would change his life. At that time frame there was a major increase in piracy. The merchant ships decided they had to something about it so they took manners into their own hands and began to conduct raids. One day they raided Cove. All people that were found for piracy would be taken back to Britannia and executed. The merchants went from house to house with search warrants. His father and the fisherman ship was porting at that time. Marc was with him. The merchants boarded the ship and began to search. One of the guard’s came out with a map in his hand and whispered in the chief’s ear. Then the guard’s on the ship started arresting everyone. Marc’s father tried to resist and hit one of the guard’s right on the nose breaking it. The chief pulled out his sword and stabbed Marc’s father. Marc watched his father die right there on the ship. From that day on he revenged his father’s death. When he became the age of and adult he said goodbye to his mother and set sail in to the grand ocean. He traveled to many cities that sat on the coast. He did this for many years. He found his first crew at Buc’s Den. They sailed together for many years robbing ships, mostly small merchant ships. But on one day there was a great battle with the merchants. It was his ship versus three of the strongest ship they had. The battle went on for a few hours. Marc would utilize the hit and run technique. He was able to take out one them. But finally the merchant’s hit his ship hard and it began to sink. He decided that he was not going leave his ship. Suddenly the mast fell down on his head and knocked him unconscious. Marc woke up two day’s later and realized he was on a different ship. He looked around and found himself in the captain’s quarters. He stood up and went to the door and opened it. There standing at the helm, was a lady dressed in black with long silver hair. Her name was Mariah, which was one of the most famous pirates of the sea. She had seen the great battle Marc had put up and decided to save him. After sailing together for a long period, Marc became her first mate.

Re: Who's Who in VTC
Name: Lilith Mauvais
Race: Half Elf Profession: Blacksmith Sin: Covetous Lilith Mauvais was born to her human mother in the city of Britain. She never knew her father, and she only recently learned of her elf heritage. She had a normal childhood in Britain and was apprenticed at a young age to an odd guild of crafters. Whatever money she made, she sent back to her mother. The guild was working on experimental techniques, trying to rediscover the lost art of magic item creation and combine it with newer forging techniques. Most of these techniques wouldn't become practical until the year of Malas's discovery. She worked hard in the guild and learned a great deal. After her apprenticeship, she started a small forging business. Due to a dispute with a noble over a sword he had purchased, she assaulted the noble, cutting off his ear. She fled the authorities and lived for several decades in the sewers under Britain. It was here that Margrave of the Vesper Trading Company found her and offered her work. Her first task was to construct a magic dagger that would cut the vampirism curse away from the soul of a vampire, leaving them cured. Margrave used the dagger to help an associate of hers and rewarded Lilith with more work. One of these tasks resulted in Lilith getting into trouble with Britannian law again. She was captured and put on trial. She was given a stiff fine and probation for the crime. Recently, her fine was paid for by a mysterious benefactor. She is now crafting armor and weapons for VTC in the Shadowlands. |

Re: Who's Who in VTC
Name: Cressida
Race: Human Profession: Necromancer Sin: Hythloth When Malas was discovered, many Britannians traveled to the new lands to seek fortune and fame. One such couple along with their teenage daughter traveled to explore the pyramid in the desert of Malas, hoping for treasure. Instead, the couple was torn apart by undead. The daughter survived without injury. She remained trapped in the pyramid for several days until Margrave happened to find her. While Margrave had hoped to find secrets about Malas, a traumatized girl with a kinship with undead was still useful to her. She brought the girl to Umbra to be trained by the school there. After, the girl became a useful part of her company, nicknamed the desert scorpion after the place of her "birth." No one knows who exactly Cressida talks to through her wisps. She is currently held in custody for crimes against Trinsic and Britannia. |
