Lotro: Phalanax

The Phalanax is a military formation, in which soldiers in close formation would close ranks and interlock shields. We found this formation very useful in fighting Sauron's Army. Sauron's orc's and allies were forced to come within striking distance of all of our area of effect damage manuevers.
