A light rain swept the shores as the ship glided into port at the Elven harbor of Celondim. Nevertheless, home looked very good indeed to Eowyna. She'd been away a long time. Turning from the view she addressed the captain of the ship, THE Dread Pirate Bob, "I'll send Albert for my personal things. You know what to do with the cargo in the hold."

Bob grinned, revealing a few missing teeth. "I do indeed, Arwenamin. I'll see to it, never you worry"




There was no White Ship in port today, so the docks were not busy, and Eowyna scanned the area for the one she hoped to see--not that he'd known when she was arriving. She stiffled a small sigh of disappointment and began to make her way ashore.

"Hello. It's good to see you." came a voice from directly behind her. "And a new dress! I like it!" She started, whirled around to face Maddux. He grinned broadly.

"I should have suspected you'd be stealthed!" He picked her up at the waist and twirled her around briefly in the air. She laughed in delight as he set her upon her feet again.

Eowyna stood on tiptoe and whispered into Maddux's ear. He smiled down at her. "You took your time asking! Let's go home."
She linked her arm with his as they walked quickly through the warm rain toward Melenhir.

"Oh!" she quickly fished for something from beneath her cloak. "I brought you something." She placed a pouch in his hand. The fabric of the pouch was the softest velvet, but the object inside was quite heavy.

I carefully opened the velvet pouch and I was overwhelmed by a feeling of joy and love. It was silver figurine, finely crafted. I looked at the figurine, and it was in the likeness of Eowyna. A true treasure and a gift. I returned the figurine to its pouch and placed it in my tunic's pocket, close to my heart. I removed another pouch from my pocket, and placed it in Eowyna's hands.

It was not an exquisite pouch as the one Eowyna gave me, but it was finely crafted none the less. She smiled beautifully looking at the pouch. Untying the drawstrings, she carefully poured the glass crystal into her hands. It radiated a bright blue glow and hope began to fill the air.


I looked into Eowyna's eyes "I love you more than words can say to the point i can't explain. I wish to be with you everyday and every night just talking,cuddling gazing into your eyes. I want you in every imaginable way mind, body, heart, and soul so always know that despite distance,time and circumstances my heart is forever yours. At the moment, amongst the crowded docks, Eowyna and I were alone in each other's gaze. We embraced, and gently kissed one and another.
