what would be the best server, and ...................how best to phrase this without insulting anyone, are you forced to pvp in this game to get good gear, how do the skills systems work? ummm, what else did i miss?

Server's are like shoes, you have to try them on for a perfect fit. PvP or in Lotro, PvMP "Player vs Monster Player" isn't necesary for "good gear" Questing is a must to get decent gear and to advance.

Just have fun and interact with the player community. Player community is what makes a server in my opinion.

A player who plays a monster. ie: Orc, Spider, Warg, or troll. PvMP takes place in The Ettenmoors, and is non consentual.

So far (at lvl 22) I've been able to get much better gear that is crafted than from any quests. There is more emphasis on crafting in LOTRO than there is in UO.

Adri, Speaking of crafting, I may need to employ your services, especially in the weapons and armament department. So far, shear bravado, luck, and my good looks have pulled me through most dire situations.

okay, i'm just curious, if i try to make an elven name and use alt-numbers for certain letters, will the game backspace me like it does here, or will it let me actually do it or will i need to copy and post? Because i will be playing an elf, i know that for sure, think i will play landroval, (sorry to bug you so much Maddux and anyone else, if i get annoying, just let me know, but i like to be informed on games and other stuff i will be doing, and i'm not asking for items, i will refuse them if offered, i just want advice, that's all,) and i think i will try Landroval first, since i love roleplaying, but while waiting for the installation and then the patching, i won't get on til tomorrow most likely.

I haven't tried using special character's in any of my character names, nor have I seen anyone with them either. Lotro is like wow, If the name is taken, you cant use it.

k, finally got it downloaded, installed, and patched, gotta love fast cable, hehehehe, only took me 2 hours max to do this, made an elf hunter from rivendell, i think.
