Lotro: Vana Nu Silma

The frost giant corpses lay scattered and broken where they had been slain. At leats for now, the battle was over. My adrenaline all gone and but a memory. Cold and exhausted I took a seat against a cold boulder. Bloodied dagger and sword close at hand. I reached in to my cargo pocket and removed a well worn journal, along with an ink bottle and quil. Most do not know that as a General, I am also a Scholar. Infact, most would laugh if they had known that.

I turned the pages, until I found a blank page. Dabbing quil to ink I began to write. My memory drifted to another time and place.

A throbbing pain brought me back to the present. Somehow in battle I had been wounded. The wound was nothing serious, but Eowyna would not hear my protests about it, and worked to clean and bandage the wound. She applied the leeches on the wound, and in turn they drew the poison out. My thoughts returned and I wrote once more. Eowyna's eyes glanced at my journal, and she smiled

I had not noticed that Eowyna removed the leeches, but when she began to wrap the bandages around the wound, I was brought back once again. Eowyna whispered in my ear "A'maelamin, Tanya farnuva." and gently kissed me. She turned and went to help the others. I continued to write.

I returned the journal and writing utensils to my pocket. I leaned my head and back against the boulder and closed my eyes. The medicine began to put me to sleep. My dreams returned Eowyna and me back to Lorellin.
