'Tis the season!

The Mighty Mighty Bree Tones are pleased to announce our next major concert event. On Sunday, December 23rd at 11am PST / 2pm Server/EST the Bree Tones invite you to an open stage holiday concert! This event will be held in Bree on the "Boar Stage" (second deck near the scholar, south-west of the crafting hall I believe). We are inviting all the bands of the realm to take their turn playing to help celebrate the holiday season. The Bree Tones will be performing a mix of our popular covers as well as some special holiday themed music. We are currently expecting the Hobbiton Philharmonic to participate as well, and have had interest from several other groups. We would LIKE to see many performances. Whether you have covers or original works, play from files or wing-it with live button-mashing... you are invited to take a turn on stage and entertain the crowd.

Don't miss out! If you're in a band... sign on to participate! If you enjoy listening to the bands of the realm... then mark your calendars! Don't miss this holiday Breeapalooza! Band representatives are welcome to confirm their participation in this thread, or speak to Mosaic, Branderic, or Cranberry while in Middle Earth.

The player music system in LOTRO is absolutely phenomenal. I've heard players performing (both solo and in groups) everything from Bach to jazz to their own orginal compositions. For those who was to be musicians in game, LOTRO is definitely the game!

As I was practicing my cooking in Bree, I came upon a band while they were tuning up. Kneading my dough, I kept one eye (and both ears) on them as they played. I was most impressed! I wandered ovr to listen some more, and had a grand time. They played so well that I forgot about my batch of pies I was making. I can't wait for this event, I hope they show up too!
