![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Lotro:March Landroval Kinship Recruitment Faire ![]() 7:00pm EST The goal of the recruitment faire is two-fold: 1) Unguilded players, both new and veteran, will be able to meet members of prospective kinships on the server. By meeting them in person, they may better understand the goals and style of different kinships, especially those that may not have extensive websites. 2) Kinships, both large and especially small will have the chance to make themselves known and help them grow. Tips for attending kinships: -Decide ahead of time whether your kinship will recruit on the spot, or if you will be referring them to apply. This just saves time and confusion for the recruits. -When interviewing a prospective applicant, invite them into a fellowship and answer questions there. This just serves to weed out the many emotes and /says that accompanies a large gathering of people. -First come, first serve - Back in September, we used the tents as a way to separate kinships. You may stake a claim on a tent, or just find a spot that makes you happy (even the middle of the pool counts ). Just remember to give eachother enough space so that applicants can tell you apart from eachother, but not so far away that people don't see you out there on the grassy knoll!-Be social! Walk around, meet some other kinships. RP, drink ale, enjoy pipeweed or play music. The more fun it is, the more people will want to come see what's up! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Who will be there? Band of Hope http://www.guildportal.com/Guild.asp...2&TabID=406750 Blades of Anárion We are a mature and casual kinship with a very simple and precise goal: we strive to provide a kinship for friendly, mature and like-minded individuals who enjoy the high-fantasy genre of J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle-earth as depicted in The Lord of the Rings and other works. We employ light-to-medium roleplay (RP) to keep ourselves within the context of Tolkien's lore while also sharing experiences, stories and friendships outside of the realm. Music, life, folk-lore, battle, camaraderie, and brotherhood are aspects we all enjoy. If you enjoy these as well, consider joining the ranks of the Blades of Anárion. We are currently seeking members levels 25-35, though others may be considered. Ventrilo is not required, but highly recommended. Blades of Anárion Blood Ravens Who Are We: • Initially formed from players that worked together (and still play) on past MMOs - WWIIOL, EVE, SWG, DDO, WoW, AoE, etc. • Many with PnP D&D legacies that go back 20+ years • We have folks of all ages from all across the USA and several from points well beyond • Tolkien knowledge: nice to have but not required • Raids: Yeah we may do them but that is not primary our focus • Role-play: Not much right now…but you may found some with hidden talent for it http://www.shadesofmidnight.net/forums/ Dark Warriors of Valour Deathgods Log In Divine Order Mission Statement: The Divine Order is a family of friends who come together in a cooperative spirit to have fun and to help others. We promote a clean, fair, and fun environment for all. We respect, value, and appreciate all members of our kinship, as well as all others, for their unique abilities and personalities. About us: We are a laid back relax kinship. We try to run kinship quests on the weekends we have people of all ages most are 20+ and their mains run from low 20s to 50. We do everything from the rift to freeze tag to the moors though the moors group is small for now. Many of our members have backgrounds in role-play and do some light RP from time to time. We have a web site and Vent server. We have GMs in every vocation and half of kin plays daily and are mostly in Central and Eastern Time zones. We also welcome RL couples as well. Divine Order - Home Hobbitual Keepers of Ayrshire Keepers of Ayrshire - LOTRO Kinship Light of the Silver Dragon Light of the Silver Dragon / Order of Bahamut Soldiers of Light GuildCafe: Soldiers of Light Three Rivers Council Waywatchers of Cardalon The Waywatchers of Cardolan will be there to welcome any potential recruits or travellers interested in knowing more about us. We are a Heavy-RP Kinship with a strong background history and a friendly, mature, RL-first atmosphere. We promote a lore appropriate, immersive play of the game and we have many new activities that will be starting off soon! It is an exciting time to become a Waywatcher, so I hope to see anyone interested at the faire! http://www.guildportal.com/Guild.asp...&TabID=1393370 ![]() ![]() |
