Useable at level 25, it's just a little something to help your alts make their way around Eriador. We don't recommend you try racing the level 35 horse, though... unless you want to lose!

The horse was a little too big to stuff in a stocking or wrap in a box, so you'll find the Bree Horse token, which can be traded to the vendor Gaelm, in your inventory if you're a Founder whose subscription was active as of December 3, 2007. Thanks for your support during LOTRO's beta and launch, and here's looking forward to another fantastic year in Middle-earth!
FAQ:

I was referred by a Founder! Do I get the horse?
No. This special gift is only available to our original Founders, defined as those players who applied a Pre-order key to their account before June 1, 2007, and have an active subscription as of December 1, 2007.

What kind of horse is it?
Known as the Bree Horse, this fine animal is useable from level 25 and has a slower speed than the horses available at level 35.

What use is this to me? I’m a Founder and I’m already above level 35!
Since the majority of our Founding members have alternate characters in addition to their mains, we think this horse makes a useful gift!

What do I have to do to get the horse?
If you’re an original Founder, the barter token for the horse will appear in your characters' inventories, as well as the inventories of any new characters you create. Bring this token to the vendor NPC Gaelm to exchange it for the horse. If your bags are full, the token may end up in overflow storage. If this is the case, clearing out some of your inventory should allow the horse to appear in a free slot.

I’m not a Founder. Can I have a horse?
Regular players can still have a horse at level 35. We are offering a different holiday promotion for non-Founders, which will be announced soon. Additionally, keep an eye out for our player rewards program, which will launch in early 2008 and offers ways to earn great perks just by subscribing to LOTRO!

Seems to happen in every game when some sort of "gift" is given there is a difference in the markets. A shame things that should be so simple get so complicated.

The gift horse that was given to the US founders is the same one that only the Euros & Pounders got when they purchased LOTRO: Gold Edition. LOTRO: GE was only available to the European market.

Atleast we got the same 3 month sub at a lesser price .. so im happy

And they say they got other things... so i dont worry about a horse or something... there is always differences in markets and most here know how its been in UO .. and there it was/is worse.
