Snuggs, when I ran WoW on a Vista machine it was the Run as Administrator thing that Nok mentioned that made the difference.

Hey guys, I tried this and it installed nicely. However when I go to load the game it downloads a patch and then says failure to install patch so it wont load

Any ideas?

Just like the install, have you tried running the Run As Admin when it needs to patch?

Also on your system's Windows Login Account, is your account an Admin or Standard account?
