how's it horrible?

It isn't just this... I hear lots of bleh stuff about the community of this game =/

Heck sister and I can not even play a female charater with out being hit on everytime we log on...

I know they constantly ask us both where we live... what our names our... phone numbers... asking if we want to cyber... etc...

I am not saying everyone who plays WoW is like this... I am saying the majority

ok I thought you meant this case in particular so I was curious. Very valid points though. Whenever I get hit on pretty much in game or out, I pull a Dharma on them... *impersonates Jenna Elfman* "Have you ever danced with a man before?"

Yeah but sometimes on just how I "talk" they seem to find out I am female anyway... like some of them hitting on me is "after" I group with them.. they act like normal group members and then they send tells just saying "Aweosme grouping with you, send a tell if you ever need help!" and then I say "ah okay" and they... well myself I think they do a "pretend" send me a mistell and then they are like "Oh sorry about that... was suppose to be to my friend... anyway sense we are talking ... and they from there" they try to "hint" about where you live and etc...

I had no problems in EverQuest, EverQuest II, Star Wars Galaxies, City of Heroes, City of Villians, Ultima Online (course when I played UO they didn't even have a tell system so that helps ALOT that and I was pretty much by myself all the time there...), and whatnot... I mean I did get hit on but they quickly went away and never was AS BAD as the ones I got hit on by WoW and it was constant there... were as it is "very little too none" in other games...

Creeps are everywhere, not just in WoW. Thing though is how many creeps there are, is a numbers game.

Let's say just for example that 1% of any given population are creeps. UO with a population of 100,000 players would have 1000 creeps. WoW with a population of 10,000,000 players would have 100,000 creeps. WoW (in this exercise) has a lot (100x) more creeps than UO, but because WoW has more (100x more) players the percentage is the same.

Just something to ponder.

Not to mention the older the game the more "mature" the player base seems to be.

Hmm... in my own opinion I find any type of online love affair pretty stupid. I just can't see the point in it... unless its for RP purposes. The ones that actually try to relate to eachother in real life are even worse, it's inevitably gonna lead to a problematic scenario and after all, online games arn't really meant for that.

As has been previously said, this is the very bring that puts me off the WoW community. Its full of MMOers that wern't in the old days of UO,EQ, early SWG, but now that a simple - easy to the eye MMO has come out they find it easy to implement their entire lifes on it, including in this case, relationships.

Anyways, obviously I dont mean to offend anyone on the forums and I want to stress that I realise there are some exceptions, but without trying to generlise, the majority of these type of people seem pretty damn sad to me and I think you've gotta get to a point where you learn how to distinguish elements of your real life and elements of your virtual life.
