Well Sitting with two 70's now...
My first thing is to Know your Quest Area, stay within yellow and green quests... Another thing if you choose to grind mobs grind Mobs that are green to you, They make for fast killing and even faster EXP... Always grab as many quests as you can for 1 area, and do those before choosing to venture across the map to another... Even if you get a quest that says Something like "Go from Feralas to Azshara to drop this item off" Do your local quests first... Like dip said the quickest way to level is to have Fun, Fun will always make time go by faster and make you enjoy your playing experience substantially more

... also Instances provide a nice break from quests and Offer about the Same XP versus Time

I have leveled a guy to 35 by grinding, and a guy to 51 by questing. I must say that questing is by far the easiest way to go. My buddy got a guide online that has all the quests to do at each level, and it was much smoother this way. It just says what areas to be in at what lvl, and what quests to grab. It isnt required to follow the book completely, but it really helped me out.

Questing IS by far the easiest way to level, IF you know which to do when.

My first character probably took 2-3 weeks just to get to level 19, after that one the next couple took maybe a week (inconsistant play) because I did the same quests that I already knew.
