The Quest for the Books of Sin

This is a quick brief for the community on something the Council of Sin is up to. At the last meeting is was decided that the Council would start a quest to attempt to recover the Books of Sin, that have been discovered, that are not currently in the Shadow's or The Council's possession.

[Please keep in mind that this forum is OOC, and the info posted here may not be widely known In Game, but it is posted in the hope that it may encourage more interaction]

Thanks,

-H.

Which ones have not been discovered yet? I know that Gareth has the Book of Wrong, and I have the Book of Hythloth safely secured. The last time I knew I think Eric the Red had 2 and The Shadow had at least one, but I do not know which ones they are.

Re: The Quest for the Books of Sin

Hi Katherine,

I don't know if this is up to date but I found it in one of the various forums (maybe stratics rp?)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Quest for the Books of Sin took the Shadow to Chesapeake. His efforts to find the books were thrwarted on numerous occasions.

Despise
(still undiscovered)

Destard
Kept at the Library of Knowledge in PaxLair City.

Deceit
(still undiscovered)

Shame
In Eric the Red's possession

Wrong
In Gareth's possession (PaxOku)

Hythloth
Kept at the Museum of Virtue

Pride
In the Shadow's possession

Coveteous
In the Shadow's possession
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The ones the Shadow has are in the original Council Chambers (Malas).

Re: The Quest for the Books of Sin

Thank you, Lord Havok. I remember seeing this post once upon a time, but obviously forgot the contents.

Eric the Red originally had 3, but gave one each to myself and to the Library of Knowledge to "spread them out" so as to not make such a tempting target in one place.

Re: The Quest for the Books of Sin

Hello..

I kinda vanished on you. I discovered City of Heroes and had become addicted to it so much that I really forgot everything else. And then it became that awkward long time where I was afraid to say that I was gone. Now I understand why the people that leave for WoW rarely come back. I apologize for just leaving everything in a lurch.

I can get you the Shadow's books, Havok. I believe that Deceit and Despise are still out there and you are more than welcome to come up with how they show up. Eric can pass on Coveteous when I open his account back up (may be a few weeks).

The Risk game looks interesting. Vesper is a great spot for that because of the island thing.

The Shadow is gone. He was yanked out of Britannia by a group of evil mages from another dimension. If anyone plays City of Heroes (or City of Villains) let me know.

Good luck,
Shadow

Hi Shadow,

I'm sorry to see you go, but it sounds like you are having fun...so are you playing a Hero or a Villian?

I wish you the best of luck Eric!

(if you do ever feel like coming back there will always be a seat open for you!)

Respectfully,

-Havok

I can understand that totally. Once you get the new game bug its hard to quit it!

I was involved in some of the Europa Books of Sin stuff - had wondered whatever happened to it. Good to hear you are still out there and ok
