Would you say that if you were an enforcer?

Re: TormTar Quest: Knight
Yes, I would. Why would you question me after you gave me the rank before you even announced the quest?

Re: TormTar Quest: Knight
It is my job... find the stress points... fix them and allow GRI to develop towards all the possible UO goals...
- RP - PVM - PVP - Crafting and above all... create a circle of friends... Otherwise all of this would be pointless... a lie. ![]() "There's always a plan, even when there is no plan...!" |

Re: TormTar Quest: Knight
May I put in my 2-cents worth? Great thanks
![]() I am an enforcer, I still need to win a tournament for guardian. I am not a pvp char nor am I a seasoned PVP'r. I have a lot to learn in that regard. Now, that we have that out of the way. I agree that the Tormtars doing the knight's quest should not be allowed to have the knight title until they reach guardian. That is fair and coming up through the ranks. I have 2 possible solutions: 1. If GRI events are not to be allowed to gain Guardian title....then allow us to complete the Knight's quest and have the title held in reserve until we win an Non-GRI sponsored event. Not an easy task. 2. If that is not somthing we can't allow, then I feel GRI sponsored events need to be allowed. There are not that many events outside of GRI to qualify me as Guardian. We have to participate and win the event. The guild ranks have to be obtainable for both the casual player and the power gamer. In the last 4 months, I have only seen one non-GRI event that could have qualified me for Guardian and I believe Obake won that event. ![]() I am a pretty serious player and if it is going to take me 6 months or better to become guardian....folk will lose interest. I don't want to see that happen. ![]()

Re: TormTar Quest: Knight
I would be for GRI sponsored events being allowed, on the conditions that they are properly planned, and properly announced (open to the public).
As for Knight, I heavily disagree with being able to bypass a rank in any way.. |

Re: TormTar Quest: Knight
I agree that no rank should be by-passed. I am not suggesting that, but suggesting that since their is not alot of events to gain the guardian title (especially if GRI events are not allowed) that we be allowed to do the knight's quest. Folk would remain enforcer's until such time as the guardian title is achieved. Then and only then we will move immediately from Enforcer to Knight. I like this way, because we can still be working towards the goals while waiting for a Guardian event. The only real drawback is keeping track of who has completed what task.
But if you are willing to allow GRI events, then I see no need to do things as in the above example. I am fine either way. Please would love to hear other's opinions. ![]()

Re: TormTar Quest: Knight
I think there should at least be a wait time between Enforcer and Knight if you have the Knight quest finished prior to reaching Guardian. Otherwise we will end up having practically no Guardian ranked Tormtars at any time.

Re: TormTar Quest: Knight
Okay....so then let me re-state to make sure all are on the same page.
1. Non-GRI Events won to complete Guardian quest. 2. Knight's quest can be completed prior to Guardian title 3. there will be 90 day waiting period once both quests are complete to achieve the knight's title. (If knight's quest done prior to Guardian title being earned) Acceptable to all??? Please voice opinions ![]()
