Summer changes, a possible Path...

RP:
1- Create a new guild like Torm and have all Paladins move there...
( rpers and non rpers )
2- Have the C.A.T. war the UP pirates...

GRI new allied Guild:
1- Creation of MgK... elect a Magus for GM.
2- Move all Griffons to MgK.

Will this improve C.A.T.?

I am for the CAT trust to war with the pirates. As long as we set guidlines about the attacking of folk with the GRI tag and vice versa.
I also would like to include PGoH in the highlighted state.

Not so sure about the griffons becoming MgK. Seems more logical to have the crafters as Mgk then the mages. Let's face it. The crafters are the ones making alot of the items being handed out.

Greetings... need your feedback on this one.

Goal... create an active Alliance.

Procedure...
- Create the CATs alliance Stone.
- ask all allied/warring guilds to send a Diplomat.
- rotate the GM of Cats every month
- keep an alliance newsletter

Domino Effect...
- we will need an Alliance Constitution
- more guilds will be created and new gms

A united community..

focusing on getting members over to Torm in a less contrictive (less strict RP) and getting the knowledge out there that is is a safer way to PVP with out the high end learning curve that fel gives. starting a new alliance is just going to confuse and aggravate members to the detriment of GRI and its current alliance members.

Just because you love PVP and RP pitr does not mean everyone has this same leval of interest.

But thats just my 2 gps. worth

Okay - I like the idea of a collective of like minded people forming an alliance with an alliance stone and based perhaps in Britain with regular meetings of the diplomats at the castle there. Maybe make them "Knights of the Realm" and name them "The Saint Something or Another Alliance." Questions are what is the goal of this alliance other than just to be "active"? Will the "warring guilds" be a separate alliance sending their diplomats to the CATS Alliance?

I agree with Mathena with respect to treatment of GRI and with Robert regarding not everyone being interested in PVP or RP. I don't know about anyone else but PVP and RP aren't for me, but, I love GRI.

Have to agree with most of what Robert says. Having the alliance war the pirates would make since if the whole alliance was made of just roleplayers, but its not. You have some that just love to PvM in the guild, some that love to PvP, and some that love to RP and PvP both.

As for creating a new guild to put all the Paladins in that would depend on if it totaly different thenw hat Torm was suppose to be if so I could understand that but if its going to be excately like Torm dont see any since in it. Also not a good idea to bunch non-roleplayers and roleplayers up in the same guild unless Torm would be a semi-rp guild. Im all for the RP and the PvP going on with the pirates just dont think would be wise to have the entire alliance war them mainly cause not everyone Roleplays or Pvps. No could see the alliance warring them in events like tournments or stuff its a non RP event. Just my thoughts on the matter know I havent been in the guild long but I rp'd for years over on atlantic and over there the RP was very strict all members in the guilds had to be roleplayers and if they warred anyone or allied anyone they would have to hold the same strandards rp wise and rules wise as the alliance leader.

Now as a way I could see you doing this would have a seperate alliance for RP/Pvp.. a Roleplaying community so to say. Not sure if there is one on this shard though but know there is one on Atlantic and the Euro shard. Two seprate alliances basically one with those who just like to PvM and not have to warrior about any orange characters killing them and have to worry about staying in character and then another alliance that is solely for those who wish to RP/PvP.

Alliance

Personally I am a fan of RP and High lights..... But it opens a whole new world of Drama that none of you will want to deal with.

GRI is not a fighting guild its more or less a group of people who want to learn the game or make friends.

If you want to RP and fight the Pirates Join PGoH they have a great system and their guild is growing back by the day... heck I run peerless with Thom and Piper lots of times... We are even getting more members from PGoH to join our vent, run peerless, and do spawns.

Oh and C.A.T. can go to war but as a GRI emmy my only concern is internal guild safety... I'm not messing with allied guilds or Warring guilds thats why we have War Lords

The warlords are just to break a guild from the alliance, if necessary.
I agree with Qu, if we war the entire alliance, there will be drama. That every emmy will have to deal with.

I am not in favor of another alliance. I think what we have in CATs is great and it is working with relatively no drama.

I agree with Robert, I would like to fix TORM and not create another one.

And I have nothing against PGoH, but if you want to RP, please come to TORM or FURY and learn with us. I want to promote our alliance and not another guild. And we have a lot we can learn from PGoH.

Lets see if things can be clear...

1- CORE guild...
- Will handle alliance issues and solve all problems internally.
- Will explain the basic Circle Rules for Non-RP guilds.
- Will explain the RP Constitution for RP guilds.
- Will have one member of each allied or warring guild, plus an extra diplomat.
- Meetings will be OOC and simple.

Circle Rules:
- no foul language
- no disrespect
- no attacking guildmates

Changes:
- Creation of Core.
- Allying the several guilds.
- Warring the rping guilds.


Disadvantages:
- the fear of being attacked because there are so many highlighted or allied players. (countered by insurance)
- drama. (countered by united GMs and rules)



Advantages:
- extra players to interact with.
- sense of community.
- open doors leading everywhere.
- faster exchange of information.
- huge firepower at the shadow wars.
- etc...


Why GRI?
- because someone has to set the example.
- because we have the experience and the right members... very aware and tough.
- because we're mature enough (guildwise) to move to the next stage...
- because we have enough emmys and warlords to keep our members safe.
- because we have great gms... like Robert that rocks with CYM.



Short Term effect:
- Instability... and adaptation.

Mid Term effect:
- new friends and new adventures.

Long Term effect:
- a united shard community.


HIGHLIGHTS:
- United Pirates... Hawkeye Pike.
- PGoH... Thom/Piper.
(easy to establish basic rules so those guilds interact with the right alliance members...)


New Alliances/Highlights:
- to be discussed by everyone... but solved faster due to the CORE guild system.
- Non-RP guilds should be introduced to our three rules.
- RP guilds should be introduced to our rp constitution.

It wont work!!! Maybe you have not gone hunting with a orange friends but when we have 6 mages dropping EVs to protect our PgoH friends at Mels its going to be funny stuff

You dont even think these things over Pitr....

If you want a better Idea for The alliance... Stop ignoring RP guilds, The Qu joined PgoH to open the door for GRI to RP when Torm died off the SECOND time

Im tired of being ignored or having anything I say taken out of context.

Torm is dead.... FURY is a cheap rip off of Torm because Obake didn't hand over control to the rookie GM and knew Factions was a terrible idea.

CYM is a great tamers unit and has a perfect leader

Ive only ever seen one Wo|f member and I woundering why a dead guild is still in our alliance...

SCB Is an older guild that I can respect as I have attended their events.

Like I said If you want to learn RP join PGoH..... if you want to learn PvP join FURRY then

There wont be a new alliance because every RP guild Pitr wants to HL is about to agree that GRI is not an RP guild and waring them would be against RP standards
