Tonight we Joust!


A Jousting Tournament will be held at the PGoH Jousting Arena on Saturday March the 8th at 8 PM Eastern.

Entry Fee:
10,000 gold. The entry fee must be received at least half an hour before the competition.

Awards:
Will vary based on the number of entrants. First place will receive fifty percent of the entry fees. Second place will receive thirty percent. Third place will receive twenty percent.

Rules:

Armor:
GM crafted non runic or NPC bought armor.
Must have a shield and helmet.

Jewelry:
none

Mounts:
Standard Horses only, No ethereal mounts.

Lances:
Will be provided at the tournament. (UBWS will be provided so anyone can participate)

Clothing:
Anything that covers armor is not allowed.

Scoring:
Contestants will score a point for each succesful dismount. The first contestant to reach three points will win the round.

Rounds will continue until the first, second, and third place winners are decided.

(Note - attacking of mounts will result in automatic disqualification.)

Yesterday was a precious day.

So much going on at the same time I could hardly grasp it all... but then again that is the fun of it.

We got called to do Bedlam... (thanks Icelander)

So it was a nice place to have a guild hunt IF we worked together... and we did.

The elders went hunting for the quest items... they called the youngblood and together they gathered enough items so everyone finished the Quest.

The young ones thought they would be in the way... they were dragged to Bedlam... yup, dragged... you shoud have seen Calditil screaming "No, not Bedlam! I'll be in your Way! No!"... but we got them there anyway... no one is in our Way... if you really want to know... you guys are the Path we decided to take... help new ones, make new friends, enjoy UO and walk slowly with good folk by our side. (sorry for the jest Cal)

... then there was small discussion about adding a Wing to GRI. A RPing Wing... and it exploded into existence... with many RPers joining us in this idea. Magik took its course....

Soon change will hit GRI once again... new WingLeaders, new Wings... new Emmys... the Spin is hard to keep under control... but we have a common center of Gravity... our three rules and our playstyle.

Yes, I am eager to see what follows... specially, I am eager to see GRI surprise Icelander and the 15 GRIs/DRIs that finished the quest show up and join him... BedLam is the perfect hunting ground... it will promote cross healing, invising and will allow the Team to work together...
