Hi, I'm Jim.
This may not be written as well as I'd prefer but.. here goes.
Till 5 days ago I have spent the last 3 years away from UO. Mostly I have played alot of the free multi-player F.E.A.R. to the point of being a founding member of PpP, Pirates Paradise Posse and running a server.(am sure the "UP" guild here will like that info, lol) Also I have spent time in W.o.W. (Alliance Side Azjul-Nerub realm)
Both of which has become old to me.
During that time, however, I have kept U.O. up to date and active. Now..? Now I have come back.
The world here has changed. Inflation is up making my 750k savings like chunk change. hehe.. no surprise there. ML dungeons I have never seen. Recipes and materials. ect. I went from knowing all UO to being newbie again, hehe, makes it interesting. I have new runebook spots to make... new places to die in...

Ok... I Once best known as Milamber. Founder and GM of K^S, Knights of Solamnia. K^S died off around 2004, but the guild still exists thru the diligence of Bytor. The Guild stone even exists still

In 2004 I joined two guilds after K^S became a ghost. CVL (The Cavaliers) and SoW (Spirit of Wolves) During that time I learned of and participated in the PGoH jousts. I very happy to learn that the jousts are back.

I Spent a year+ more playing UO then got into F.E.A.R. late 2005.
well..,Though the site is a little butchered here is my old.. Knights of Solamnia Ultima Online Catskills
still exists. In the 5 days I've been back i toyed with the idea of restarting guild. Even started to tinker with old site and add a forum.. But.., I came to the realization that I'd rather play the game than deal with running a guild again. I only mention the old website here because much of who I am is in that website. Oh, and if any PGoH read this.. the Link there, my "K^S as a Tale Told", would'a been my tale for the "Beginnings" bard night. hehe. (it still wouldn't have beat Lady Flame

)
To me Honor is not just a guiding role in game, but in life. 'nough said.

I've spent that last few days seeing what people and guilds still around that I used to know. Spent some time hanging around Luna (hate the place, spams journal =P) and of late in Haven. I like what I have been seeing. I also remember the tag GRI from the old days. that GRI is still around ..that alone speaks very highly. And that brings me to this post. Seeking to join GRI. From what I see it has good people. No dang agenda like constant daily hunts. Deals with other guilds fairly and by association with offers opportunities for whatever mood anyone might be in. RP tonight, champ the next day or maybe if they feel like some PvP to let off steam over Work. Well thats a guild.
I'm Milamber (Tamer/bard)
Talon Silverhawk (mage)
Darian (Warrior)
and I have a couple others. Chicken (Necro/mage)(doom toon) I leave as my token toon in CVL. my Crafter, Major Miner will always exist in me old K^S.
Guess now it just up to me to hang with ye's and see if we all agreeable

Who are you again?

We are a bit different from the old days... some would say better, some would say different, some would say chaotic... but we're still here.

CVL disbanded yesterday.

If you have the ML client we can give you a head start:
- powerscrolls, recipes, lrc suit, some slayer spellbooks and alot of information.

Like always GRI flows in UO... our direction is known... the speed is decided by each member... and the Pack moves on... sometimes together, sometimes hunting alone... but when the Calling comes... we're there... ONE Circle... ONE Soul... it has been like this for over 10 years now... and I am humbled that so many are now looking at GRI... differently.

Anything you need... let us know. Excellent start... you posted.

I have a toon called "Milamber k'Vala " on sonoma. not used char for a long time. I do not think even on skill is GM on him.
heh. just checked. highest skill is 50 taming.
